Emily Blunt is set to reunite with Cillian Murphy for Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. According to Deadline, sources close to the situation say Blunt would be playing the wife of J. Robert Oppenheimer played by Cillian Murphy. Oppenheimer is about J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man who led the Manhattan Project, which led to the invention of the atomic bomb. The film is set to release on July 21, 2023 in theaters and will be distributed by Universal.
This is the second time Blunt and Murphy will be a film together. Their last film together was A Quite Place Part II. But this will be Blunt's first film with Christopher Nolan. Blunt recently starred in A Quiet Place Part II and Jungle Cruise. According to Deadline, representatives for Blunt could not be reached for comment. She is repped by CAA.
